Hi my name is Alexis i’m a year 6 in Awapuni School. I am Māori and i have four sisters. Tretana, Shaz, Jodeci, and Aaliyah. I can speak some Māori but all of my family can do it better than me. This year I've learnt how to snorkel and use flippers for the marine reserve last term. I feel like I'm getting better at drawing people or animated characters. So far I'm enjoying all the different things that we are learning. I’m challenging myself to become an amazing drawer like my older sister. This year I'm looking forward to camp and kapa haka, and the electives. I feel like I've achieved my goal of becoming a better speller, which i was supposed to do last year but i couldn't. My dad has inspired me because he is super nice and he can build anything so i wanted to try that when i’m older like 15 or 17.
