Hi my name is Alexis i’m a year 6 in Awapuni School. I am Moari and i have four sisters. Tretana,Shaz,Jodeci,and Aaliyah. I can speak some Moari but all of my family can do it better than me.

This year I've learnt how to snorkel and use flippers for the marine reserve last term. I feel like I'm getting better at drawing people or animated characters. So far I'm enjoying all the different things that we are learning. I’m challenging myself to become an amazing drawer like my older sister.


This year I'm looking forward to camp and kapa haka, and the electives. I feel like I've achieved my goal of becoming a better speller, which i was supposed to do last year but i couldn't. My dad has inspired me because he is super nice and he can build anything so i wanted to try that when i’m older like 15 or 17.

About me

We were learning about what should be private and public. I found it easy to do the eyebrow on the face. I found it challenging to do the hair because the poly line kept stopping. Next time i will put more detail in my jacket.

Voyager Art

Today we drew a waka. It was difficult. The most difficult part was that i didn't have a rubber. so i asked azallia and she was that kind to let me use it. We only drew this because we are learning about voyagers.

I really enjoyed creating this waka.

Next time i can defiantly add shading to my picture.

l've  learnt how to draw a little bit just a tiny bit.

This is our slide show about protein. This was made in term 2 but i posted this is term 3 so ye.
i really like the backgrounds but the first 2 were just simple.
before we made this we were learning food for thought.
Next time we could use our brain because we just copied and paste.

Book Character Week!

This is the book person i dressed up as. i originally gonna go as a person i forgot. My sisters wanted me to go as captain underpants. But no to silly so i went for something simple.

I only recommend this a pixel book. Well it’s more like a crazy kinda book.

What’s the story about:

The story is about a gamer that meets a girl gamer and they become best friends. But before that The girl got bullied a lot. Her name is Mei and the boy’s name is Rip short for Ripley. They get put into a game dimension, they became roommates. They had some things in common they both loved playing games and they both sometimes get bullied. And also she’s a mystery girl.

Rating: 9/10

Next time i can definitely try a little bit harder on my picture because i didn't have the time to give myself a mouth. And just add a little bit more.

i kinda liked how i tried to do a hood but that's how i wore my hood most of the day behind my head kinda up but not to up.

i learnt something about the book that i used. i would just keep all my books in my draw and do nothing about it. but that time i did do something about it.

Persimmons

On count on three 1,2,3 chomp. ‘Mmmmmm’ I couldn't understand why people do not like the persimmons.

Patience dropped her fruit on the mat.

Mania didn't even take a nibble. I looked at Mia T’s face she looked like she did not want to finish her fruit.

It looked like she just ate a piece of dirt.

The yummy fruit looked like a juicy watermelon but orange.

When i looked at maddy her face looked confused she was still eating it though.

Slurp mmmmmm when i took another bite it felt like the flesh of watermelon was in my mouth.

I looked at other peoples yummy fruits and they had big black hole was there.

It taste like a party was in my mouth just happiness.

Most of the noise I heard was slurp, CHOP, ewwww,mmmmmm.

I really wanted another one but i could not grab another one.

My mood changed i was happy to sad and angry.

I continued eating.

I was confused why I could not eat another.

In my brain I was like why can’t i grab another?

All around me was disgusted faces,confused faces,excited faces, and angry faces.

I know from this day on , I will want to eat the fruit. Because it was delicious!
